The concept

A Parisian neighbourhood bistro, transplanted to Phnom Penh

Le Deli Bistro Gourmet began as a deli and bakery in Phnom Penh in 2005. Over time, founder and chef Pierre returned to his roots in the kitchen, reshaping the address into a small, fine-dining French bistro known locally for its "bistronomie" style — generous, technically precise cooking without the formality of a grand restaurant.

The space is compact by design. Seating is limited, the kitchen works fresh twice a day for lunch and dinner service, and the team is intentionally small so every plate leaves the pass properly finished. Regulars describe the room as classy, warm, and unmistakably French, with many comparing it to a genuine neighbourhood bistro in Paris.

“It felt like I was in a neighbourhood restaurant in Paris.” Diner review, Tripadvisor
